Siva Sundararajan - General and bariatric surgeon

Mr Siva Sundararajan is a specialist general and weight loss surgeon. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2000 and migrated to Australia in 2004.

After completing his general surgical training in Western Australia, Mr Sundararajan was selected to undertake a fellowship in bariatric surgery at Box Hill Hospital. It is a high volume unit with surgeons specialising in laparoscopic and robotic weight loss surgery and one of the few public hospitals in Australia to have a dedicated weight loss surgery unit. He then undertook further training in Belgium with Dr Bruno Dillemans, a world authority on bariatric surgery.

Mr Sundararajan has commenced private practice at St John of God Subiaco Hospital and has public appointments at Armadale Hospital and St John of God Midland Public Hospital. He also serves as a military surgeon in the Royal Australian Airforce.
