Veterans' affairs

We partner with the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) to provide healthcare for war veterans, members of the Australian Defence Force, members of the Australian Federal Police and their dependants.

We work with the Department of Veterans' Affairs to make sure our hospital welcomes veterans, ex-service women, widows and widowers of those who were in service.

We offer full access to our hospital.

Please ask your doctor to admit you to St John of God Geelong Hospital, prior approval from the Department of Veterans' Affairs is not required.

Our discharge planners are available to support you before you are admitted, during your stay and when you are discharged.
