Gambling addiction

Gambling addiction can lead to a range of social, emotional and financial problems. Our program provides comprehensive care so you can address your problems and help you get back to living a full and rewarding life.

Many people who gamble excessively have mixed feelings about gambling. They know they are causing problems for the people they love. They may become anxious and unhappy. They may also promise to quit, but can’t. The urge to gamble is too strong to resist.

They fear their loved ones will find them out. They keep hoping a big win will end their problems. If they quit now, they will feel hopeless. They will have to face all the problems gambling has caused.

We can help. Our specialist teams can support you to overcome your gambling addiction.

Our gambling addiction programs

We offer both inpatient and outpatient evidence-based programs that help you understand and address the mental, physical and emotional factors associated with problem gambling.

Our inpatient programs focus on helping you understand your gambling addiction and equipping you with the skills to achieve abstinence.

Our outpatient programs provide you with ongoing support and education to help you maintain a lifestyle free of gambling addiction.

Depending on your treatment plan, you will work with experienced and expert therapy teams including psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, and potentially other allied health professionals.

Family is an important part in your treatment and recovery and regular information and support sessions are available to help them better manage and support you through your recovery journey.
