St John of God Richmond Hospital is a private mental health hospital northwest of Sydney providing comprehensive and holistic mental health care services in a setting of beauty and tranquillity.

We provide inpatient treatment and support for a diverse range of mental health and psychiatric disorders, including:

drug and alcohol addiction
post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

We also provide electro convulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatments.

Private psychiatrists practicing onsite in our Specialist Medical Centre who can provide assessment and refer you for admission to our inpatient programs, or to our Counselling and Therapy Centre where we offer a wide range of outpatient and day programs to help support patients with continuity of care, and preparation for return to their families and communities.
