Accreditation

In order to admit or treat patients at St John of God Health Care hospitals, all medical, dental and allied health practitioners must have their credentials reviewed and a specific scope of practice defined by the relevant hospital.

By-laws and code of conduct

All accredited medical practitioners and service providers are expected to adhere to our code of conduct and practitioner by-laws. These documents govern the relationship between St John of God Health Care and its accredited practitioners, and set expectations for professional conduct, patient safety and the delivery of quality care at our hospitals and services. Practitioners will receive both documents following successful credentialing.
