Types of rehabilitation
At St John of God Health Care we provide inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to those who are staying with us in hospital and to those who have returned home from being with us.
Inpatient rehabilitation
When you stay with us in hospital following an illness, injury or surgery, you have access to all our onsite inpatient rehabilitation services based on the recommendations from your doctor.
Our inpatient rehabilitation is a structured and intensive form of treatment in which patients stay in a hospital setting to receive round-the-clock care and therapy. It is designed to help individuals regain their independence, rebuild confidence, and restore their ability to return to daily activities or safely transition back home.
Outpatient rehabilitation
Outpatient rehabilitation involves attending a hospital or rehabilitation service for treatment without an overnight stay or receiving care at home after being discharged from hospital following an injury, illness, or surgery.
