St John of God Murdoch Hospital Surgicentre is owned by Dencross Pty Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of St John of God Health Care). It is licensed by the Western Australia Department of Health as a Day Hospital – Class A.
The Surgicentre is accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
The surgicentre is a surgical unit with no private rooms and visitors are kept to a minimum. The day hospital is located south of the Perth CBD and is on the campus of St John of God Murdoch Hospital, which is easily accessible by car and public transport.
The St John of God Murdoch campus is a smoke-free zone which encompasses Murdoch Surgicentre. No staff, patients or visitors are permitted to smoke on site. We request that everyone abides by this policy.
