Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) precautions

To assist in reducing the risk of COVID-19 to our babies and to our other vulnerable patients, we are undertaking a number of precautions to help keep people within our hospitals and facilities safe from harm.

We ask that our patients have only one designated visitor for the duration of their stay, and that no other visitors access our hospital during this time.

All visitors can expect to be screened on entry and cannot visit if they:

  • have travelled within 14 days of the planned visit;
  • have recently come into contact with a person who has a confirmed case of coronavirus;
  • are under the age of 16;
  • are feeling unwell.

This decision has been made in the best interests of you, your family, all our patients and caregivers, and to help us protect the more vulnerable in our facilities.

Thank you in advance for your support of this.
