Today we held a morning tea for Close the Gap Day, which was organised by our Aboriginal Health Team. The event included recommendations from a cultural conversation session with caregivers about how we can help close the gap in outcomes for Aboriginal people. On display was a close the gap pledge and artwork by patients in the Mental Health Unit. Information stalls were also held at the event, which included a Welcome To Country by Uncle Kim Collar and didgeridoo performance by John Maksimovic (Wiradjuri).
