St John of God Midland Private Hospital is a new standalone facility opening in August 2026. It will deliver a comprehensive range of medical and surgical services within contemporary environments and supported by state-of-art facilities and technology to enable clinical excellence and innovation.

Volunteers play a valued role in enhancing the patient and visitor experience, bringing compassion, connection, and support that complements our clinical care while gaining meaningful, rewarding experiences.
At St John of God Midland Private Hospital, volunteer opportunities may include:
- welcoming and wayfinding for patients and visitors
- providing patient companionship
- assisting in admissions or waiting areas
- helping with administrative and non-clinical tasks
- supporting special programs and events.
We interview all our volunteers to match your skills, interests, and abilities with available roles, ensuring you have a rewarding experience.
To be considered for a volunteer role, we ask applicants:
- have the time to commit to a volunteering role with ongoing reliable attendance for 12 months and beyond
- be over the age of 18 years
- be prepared to undergo certain personal checks (such as referee, National Volunteer Police Clearance and Working with Children)
- complete an immunisation screening
- complete annual online volunteer training.
As a volunteer, you will receive:
- free onsite parking

- training and an induction around the hospital
- the opportunity to help others.
