- For patients and visitors
We provide private inpatient rooms, each with ensuite, TV, wardrobe, bedside unit with lockable storage and a desk, which offers home-like comfort. Beside each bed is a nurse call bell and telephone.
Please note, if you are on the Alcohol and Drug Dependency Unit you are not permitted to use telephones during your first week. After that time, you will be given a private phone in your room.
Your room will be cleaned daily but we seek your cooperation in keeping rooms neat and tidy and you are responsible for making your bed each morning. Assistance is provided where necessary.
Cafes and shops
We do not have an onsite cafe or shop but a vending machine is available to purchase snacks and drinks. There are a number of shops within five minutes’ walk from the hospital.
The majority of the hospital is smoke free. We have a designated smoking courtyard for patients and visitors. Please speak to our caregivers to find out more.
Laundry facilities are provided for your use.
Our lounge facilities include tea and coffee making facilities and one of our outdoor courtyard features exercise equipment.
You may also enjoy our relaxing, light filled Quiet Room with adjoining peaceful outdoor area with water feature.
Staying in touch with loved ones isn’t limited to visiting hours with our hospital WiFi. Both patients and visitors can enjoy free internet access.
