Community and social outreach

As one of the biggest employers in Perth’s eastern region we are committed to supporting the community in a variety of ways.

In line with our core role to provide exceptional health care, we regularly invite the community into the hospital, hosting a variety of health education and community events.

Our commitment to Aboriginal health includes a special recognition of the annual NAIDOC Day and Reconciliation Week events, where our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander caregivers and members of the community are invited to widen cultural awareness and celebrate Indigenous culture.

St John of God Social Outreach

As a not-for-profit organisation we dedicate part of our revenue to our St John of God Social Outreach services. These services reach out to people experiencing disadvantage to improve health and wellbeing and are available free of charge or at low cost.
