Dilwyn was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital in June 2025. He has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and senior finance positions. Dilwyn joined the organisation in 2015 and has worked across multiple St John of God Health Care hospitals in roles including Acting CEO, Deputy Director of Finance, Finance Director and Director of Corporate Services.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Dilwyn completed his studies in the United Kingdom and holds FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Having started his career in auditing, Dilwyn has gone on to work in a diverse range of industries from construction to dot-com, manufacturing to mining, all providing the experience brought to his current role with St John of God Health Care.
Liz holds an Executive Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Catholic Leadership and has worked in the not-for-profit and tertiary education sectors.
In 2018, Liz was awarded the medal for distinguished service from the University of Notre Dame Australia, where she held the dual roles of Deputy Director of Admissions and Student Services, and Manager of the Prospective Students Office.
Lyndal is a motivated and passionate nursing executive with over 20 years' experience in acute hospital settings, with demonstrated capacity in healthcare leadership, operational management, quality and safety improvement, as well as high level strategic planning and a proven ability to lead change projects.
Prior to joining Mt Lawley Hospital, she held several roles at the Child and Adolescent Health Service including Director Nursing Services, Coordinator of Nursing, and Interim Director of Safety Quality and Performance. Originally from Melbourne, Lyndal also worked at the Royal Children’s Hospital, where she served as Care Manager and Nurse Unit Manager
Mirco has spent more than 15 years in health care leadership roles, with a focus on continuous improvement, projects and service excellence. He has worked across St John of God Murdoch, Subiaco and Midland Public and Private Hospitals, as well as Fiona Stanley Hospital. Mirco holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as risk management and project management qualifications.
Dale has held senior and leadership roles within finance across the healthcare and mining sectors for more than 20 years. Within their time at St John of God, they have worked in Hospital Operations for the Chief Operating Officer’s team as well as a senior finance role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital before moving across to Mt Lawley. Dale is a qualified CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).
Matthew joined St John of God Health care in 2023, initially at our Midland hospital, before accepting his current role at our Mt Lawley hospital. He has a clinical background in General Medicine and Infectious Diseases, with more recent forays into management. The challenges posed in providing excellent clinical care with ever shrinking resources piques his intrigue, but nonetheless, patient safety and staff well-being remain critical pillars to his view in this role as Director of Medical Services. He hopes to live up to these and other challenges arising.
Aimee has more than 15 years' experience in leadership, operations, business development and marketing roles across various sectors including aged care and disability services. She is also a member of the Institute of Company Directors Australia.
Aimee has a passion for mindfulness and is the author of the published children's book, The Awareness Alphabet. The book offers a unique way to learn the alphabet through positive messages and acts of kindness.

Our current charity of choice is Orana House, an independent domestic and family violence, community-based women’s health and sexual assault service in Western Australia.
St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital, formerly known as Mercy Hospital, joined the St John of God Health Care group in May 2014, marking a new chapter in its long and proud history of service to the community.
Since then, the hospital has continued to strengthen its commitment to exceptional care, supported by a $17 million investment in major upgrades and refurbishments. These enhancements ensure patients and their families benefit from a modern, welcoming environment designed for comfort and recovery.
The hospital’s story began on 10 April 1937, when St Anne’s Nursing Home opened its doors. Established by the Sisters of Mercy in the historic Killowen House, one of Perth’s grandest mansions, it became the first Sisters of Mercy hospital in Western Australia.
In 1996, as part of celebrations marking the arrival of the Sisters of Mercy in Western Australia, the hospital was renamed Mercy Hospital, honouring its heritage while continuing its evolution as a trusted health care provider.
