Steven Schultze - Chief Executive Officer
Steven has more than 10 years’ experience in private healthcare, including leading a major diagnostic imaging service as well as acute and rehabilitation private hospitals in Queensland and New South Wales. He has a background in management and finance, and most recently was the Chief Executive Officer for Queensland Diagnostic Imaging.
Steven is passionate about healthcare and using technology to enhance clinical care and patient outcomes.
Steven is leading St John of God Health Care’s mental health and rehabilitation services across three sites in the south east of Melbourne - St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital, St John of God Pinelodge Clinic and the yet-to-open St John of God Langmore Centre.
Sally Faulkner - Director of Clinical Services (Rehabilitation)
Sally has over 30 years’ nursing experience with a clinical background in intensive care and midwifery, working in remote and rural areas in South Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. For the past 20 years Sally has undertaken various management roles within the health sector and has a Master of Business Administration.
Before joining St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital, Sally worked as Director of Clinical Services for Calvary Health Care Tasmania responsible for quality and risk and training and development.
Dr Bruce Shirazi - Director of Medical Services
Bruce joined St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital in 2006 and was appointed Director of Medical Services in March 2014. Previously he helped establish the rehabilitation services at St John of God Ballarat Hospital and provided consultative services to private rehabilitation providers in Melbourne hospitals.
His areas of interest include chronic pain issues requiring complex analgesia regimen, general reconditioning, rehabilitation for the elderly, and orthopaedic and musculoskeletal multidisciplinary care. As Director of Medical Services, Bruce is actively involved in the administration and governance of clinical care. He is leading our service expansion of pain management and chronic disease programs.
Teresa Rhynehart - Director of Mission Integration
Teresa joined St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital in 2016 after working within the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne for more than 10 years. During this time she had positions as the Director of the Archdiocesan Office for Youth and most recently as the Director of the Secretariat for Lay Ecclesial Ministry.
Teresa has been a volunteer with the St Vincent de Paul Society for over 17 years and held a number of leadership positions on the National Council and Victorian State Council. Teresa has a strong passion for working with and advocating for those on the margins in our society. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with majors in Indigenous Studies and a Graduate Diploma in Theology. As the Director of Mission, Teresa is a support and resource for all caregivers in understanding, exploring and living out the vision and mission of St John of God Health Care.
Joanne Fang - Finance Manager
Joanne was appointed to the role of Finance Director for SJOG South Eastern Sub Acute in September 2018. Prior to her current role, Joanne was the Finance Manager for SJOG Pinelodge clinic. Joanne holds a Masters of Applied Commerce from The University of Melbourne and is a qualified CPA.
Nicole Hee - Director of Corporate Services
Nicole Hee joined St John of God Frankston Rehabilitation Hospital in 2012, bringing with her many years of experience in human resource management in the corporate sector. Nicole is responsible for our catering and environmental services, engineering and maintenance, as well as human resource management. Nicole has a passion for integrating non-clinical services within our patients’ journey.
Amber Atkinson - Occupational Health and Safety Manager
Amber joined St John of God Health care as the Occupational Health and Safety Manager in 2018 after working at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne in both Nursing then Occupational Health and Safety for 13 years.
While at SVHM Amber led numerous projects and initiatives including the delivery of both the OHS Frontline management and ‘Move Smart’ training for which she received the 2014 SVHA Health Care award ‘Fostering a Safety Culture of Zero Harm’. Amber is completing her Masters in Occupational Health and Safety and Ergonomics, is passionate about Safety in Healthcare.
Hayley Tacon - Business Development Manager
Hayley comes to St John of God Health Care with 16 years’ experience in business development in various health related industries. Her experience incorporates working with the referrers of South East Melbourne, working with various government departments and private industries to improve health services for patients. She has a Master’s of Business Administration and a background in operations and project management, and most recently was the National Commercial Manager for Sonic Healthcare.
Hayley is enthusiastic about the services St John of God Health Care’s mental health and rehabilitation services can provide over the three sites in the South East of Melbourne and is passionate about working to find the best possible outcome for the patient, referrer and St John of God Health Care.
