We are part of St John of God Health Care, one of Australia’s leading Catholic health care providers.
Opened in 1992, our acute care facility provides both private and public healthcare services in a relaxed and pleasant environment.
Our 60-bed hospital features modern operating theatres, a day procedure unit and medical, surgical and maternity wards. We also have a purpose built hospice that provides inpatient palliative care to the region.
Diagnostic support onsite includes a state of the art medical imaging services, including an MRI scanner, and pathology.
Our onsite specialist centre provides consulting suites for both permanent and visiting doctors from a wide range of specialties who provide tailored care, reducing your need to travel to Perth to receive high quality care.

As a provider of health services to the southwest of Western Australia, St John of God Bunbury Hospital complies with the WA Country Health Service Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.
We also work within the framework of St John of God Health Care’s Disability Access and Inclusion Plan, which aims to improve our ability to include and respond to the needs of people with disability, whether they are caregivers (employees), patients, clients, volunteers or the general public.
Reconciliation Action Plan
As a division of St John of God Health Care, our vision for Reconciliation is that each person who identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander is given the same respect and consideration as others in Australian society. See our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan.
