We have recently introduced robotic-assisted orthopaedic surgery at St John of God Geraldton Hospital, expanding the range of specialist surgical services available for patients in the Mid West region.
Our robotic-assisted systems, including CORI and ROSA, are designed to support surgeons during joint replacement procedures with real-time data and guidance. This technology assists with planning and implant positioning, allowing surgery to be tailored more precisely to each patient’s individual anatomy.

Our 60-bed hospital features modern operating theatres, a Day Procedure Unit and medical, surgical and maternity wards. We have a purpose-built hospice that provides compassionate, inpatient palliative care to the region.

In 2025 alone, we supported 170 mothers and babies in our local community.

Since the development of our minor procedure room, we have been able to significantly increase the number of patients we treat as ‘day-only procedures.’
