Hospice
Our 10-bed inpatient palliative care unit is set in a separate wing of St John of God Geraldton Hospital.
Our palliative care services support the physical, psychological, social and spiritual aspects of living with a life-limiting or terminal illness, including providing information, goal setting, and coordinating care.

Pathology
We have a dedicated pathology centre inside our hospital, open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and 8 am to 11am on Saturdays.

Medical imaging
I-MED Radiology Geraldton, located inside our hospital, is part of Australia’s leading radiology network. They offer X-ray, ultrasound, CT scan, MRI, Mammography and interventional procedures, providing you and your doctor with clear and accurate diagnoses.
They are open Monday to Friday between 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays between 9 am and 11 am.

Coffee cart
The coffee cart is located at our main entrance where you can purchase barista style coffee, cold drinks, delicious cakes, biscuits and light lunches. Open from 8 am to 1:30 pm daily.
Chapel
Located in the hospital foyer, our Chapel is a tranquil place for reflection, prayer or a few quiet moments.
Gardens
All our patients and visitors are welcome to relax in one of our peaceful gardens. The central courtyard is accessible via doors leading from the hospital foyer. The Tierney Garden, adjacent to the Wexford and St Raphael's wards, also provides a relaxing and reflective space for patients and visitors. St Raphael’s ward also has a sheltered courtyard with barbeque facilities for hospice patients and their families to enjoy.
Children’s playground
Located outside the Granada Patient Lounge, our safe and secure playground offers a space for you to relax with your children. We request children are supervised at all times.
Mail addressed to patients via the hospital post will be delivered directly to their room. Any outgoing mail can be given to reception who will arrange it to be posted.

Newspapers and magazines are available for purchase from reception.
Patient flowers
Our volunteers refresh and care for any flowers delivered to you while you are in hospital.
Patient lounges
Located on both the Granada and Wexford wards, our patient lounges are designed as a comfortable area for you to spend time with visitors. Tea and coffee facilities are available.
Telephones
We provide a telephone with each bed equipped with local, STD and ISD facilities. Charges will apply. For outside calls dial ‘0’ before the number (there will not be a dial tone).
Television
All free-to-air stations are available as well as our free in-house movie channel. Movie titles and schedules are available on Channel 1.
A selection of AM and FM radio stations are available through your television. We also have pre-programmed CD music available on request.
Valuables
A small lockable drawer is provided in each room for your personal effects and valuables. Please keep your drawer locked at all times. While we will take every care with your personal effects, we do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage.
