St John of God Geraldton Hospital has over 130 highly qualified accredited medical practitioners, covering a wide range of specialties. 360 Health + Community hold regular breakfast education for doctors within our region in our training room.
Application for accreditation
The office of the Chief Executive Officer or Director of Nursing is the primary point of contact for any queries regarding the accreditation of health practitioners.

Applications for accreditation are considered by the Scope of Practice committee which meets bi-monthly. The Chief Executive Officer or Director of Nursing may grant interim approval until the next meeting is held. Applicants will be notified if interim approval has been granted.
Following approval, applicants will be notified in writing of their credentialing status and scope of practice.

Only accredited specialists and general practitioners may admit patients to St John of God Geraldton Hospital.

Consulting rooms
St John of God Geraldton Hospital offers consulting rooms for lease in our specialist centre. Each consulting room has access to internet, phone/fax and general office equipment.

By-laws and code of conduct
All accredited medical practitioners and service providers are expected to adhere to our code of conduct and practitioner by-laws. These documents govern the relationship between St John of God Health Care and its accredited practitioners, and set expectations for professional conduct, patient safety and the delivery of quality care at our hospitals and services. Practitioners will receive both documents following successful credentialing.
