Clinical Trials Unit at Midland

Clinical Trials Unit at Midland is an integral arm of Midland’s Research Department. We are a team of clinical trial coordinators and research nurses that work alongside investigators from the site selection visit till the end of trial archiving.

In addition to good clinical practice training, our dedicated team members deliver excellence for patients and industry sponsors through on-going mandatory training and competency assessment requirements for research nursing preceptorships, informed consent, recruitment and retention as well as phlebotomy and laboratory processing.

We value our patient’s voluntary participation in clinical trials that is essential in further refining current and developing medicines, medical devices, and therapies. Here at CTU Midland, we extend the healing mission of Jesus to our participants by providing them exclusive access to pioneering treatments and personalised enhanced care throughout their medical journey with us. Participants’ safety and wellbeing is our utmost priority, hence trials listed below have been endorsed by St John of God Health Care’s Human Research Ethics Committee and St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospital’s Research Advisory Committee prior to commencement of participant recruitment.
