Our rehabilitation team

Healthcare at Home’s rehabilitation team is made up of senior physiotherapists and occupational therapists who work closely with your specialists or surgeons following surgery or a stay in hospital.

We deliver tailored education, equipment, treatment, and recovery plans designed in collaboration with surgeons to support optimal functional recovery.

Rehabilitation in the home

With home visits provided by our senior physiotherapists, your recovery will be supported with rehabilitation services and personalised physiotherapy sessions conducted in the comfort of your home.

We provide hands on treatment, equipment, and adjustments to your home environment to support your recovery. The benefits of our home physiotherapist sessions also include tailored exercise programs unique to your needs, and online tools available to support and monitor your progress and ongoing care.

Occupational therapy (OT) in the home

When you access our at-home OT program, our senior occupational therapists can complete a professional assessment of your home before you’re discharged from hospital. This ensures your home environment is set up in a way that supports a safe recovery once you return to your home.

Our OTs provide at-home visits, therapy strategies, and equipment that helps you recover, working closely with your specialists and care teams.

Locations where we provide mobile physiotherapy and OT in the home

Healthcare at Home provides home rehabilitation and occupational therapy across metropolitan Perth.

Perth

These services are available across metropolitan Perth, extending from Secret Harbour in the south to Quinns Rocks in the north. We also visit homes as far east as Mundaring, Kalamunda and Roleystone in the Perth Hills.

Bunbury

These services are available for people who have been patients at St John of God Bunbury Hospital, servicing the Greater Bunbury area including Myalup, Harvey, Allanson and Busselton (in a 55km boundary).
