Welcome to St John of God Murdoch Community Hospice
Our specialised palliative care is provided by health professionals who consider the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients and their families and carers.
We work with you to make the transition to home as smooth as possible by linking you with community support services.
Our services
We offer inpatient hospice care, specialist palliative care clinics and supportive therapies for people living with a life-limiting illness. Care may include support for pain and symptom relief, end-of-life care, advance care planning, and help to return home where appropriate. Patients and families can also access Footprints Day Centre, which offers emotional support, complementary therapies, wellness groups and craft workshops.

Free counselling and support
Our pastoral care services are available to all patients, clients and families, regardless of culture, faith or spiritual beliefs, including people who are not religious.
Our pastoral services caregivers provide free counselling and support to patients and their loved ones. This care can help you adjust to and cope with hospitalisation, illness, a diagnosis and the changes that come with entering hospice care.
They can also advocate for your ethical, spiritual, cultural and religious needs and concerns, helping ensure your care reflects what matters most to you.
