Consumer engagement

St John of God Geraldton Hospital seeks to deliver care-based, meaningful partnerships with the consumers of our services.

We look to address the needs and preferences of our consumers, carers and their families by seeking out, understanding and responding to experiences and expectations about their health care.

We seek feedback from our consumers in a variety of ways and always look to respond with action to address issues raised.

Our Consumer Advisory Group is a key part of this consultative process. Members are representatives of the local community and have experienced hospital care either as a patient or carer of someone who has used our services.

The members provide a consumer or carers’ perspective and feedback about a variety of hospital outcomes and services.
