Mt Lawley management team
Dilwyn Griffiths
Acting Chief Executive Officer
Dilwyn was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital in June 2025. He has more than 20 years' of experience in accounting and senior finance positions. Dilwyn joined St John of God Health Care in 2015 and has worked at multiple St John of God Health Care hospitals in a range of roles including Acting CEO, Deputy Director of Finance, Finance Director and Director of Corporate Services.
Originally from Zimbabwe, Dilwyn completed his studies in the UK and holds FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). Having started his career in auditing, Dilwyn has gone on to work in a diverse range of industries from construction to dot com, manufacturing to mining, all providing the experience brought to his current role with St John of God Health Care.
Liz Beal
Director of Mission Integration
Liz has an Executive Master of Business Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Catholic Leadership and has worked in the not-for-profit and tertiary education sectors.
In 2018, Liz was awarded the medal for distinguished service from the University of Notre Dame Australia where she held the dual roles of Deputy Director of Admissions and Student Services and Manager of the Prospective Students Office.
Emma Cook
Director of Nursing
Emma Cook has almost 20 years’ experience in a variety of clinical and nursing executive roles at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital.
Emma is a registered nurse and midwife and holds a Bachelor of Science (nursing) and Diploma in Midwifery as well a Masters in Health Care Services and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture.
Mirco Hallas
Director of Corporate Services
Mirco Hallas has over 15 years’ experience working in leadership positions in health care with a focus on continuous improvement, projects and service excellence. This has included positions at St John of God Murdoch, Subiaco and Midland Public and Private Hospitals and Fiona Stanley Hospital across a range of non-clinical services.
Mirco holds a Master of Business Administration, as well as risk management and project management qualifications.
Dr Jemma Hogan
Director of Medical Services
Jemma is a doctor specialising in both medical administration (RACMA) and paediatric medicine (RACP). She is the Director of Medical Services at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital and also works clinically as an Advanced Paediatric Trainee at St John of God Midland Public Hospital.
Jemma previously worked as the Medical Administration Registrar at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals, as an Advanced Trainee in General Paediatrics at Bunbury Regional Hospital and as a Public Health Registrar on the state-wide COVID-19 response at the WA Department of Health.
She was appointed onto the Clinical Senate for WA in 2019. She also works as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer at Curtin University, providing lectures on paediatric topics to medical students and facilitating clinical skills sessions. In 2019, she completed her dual Masters in Health Management/Masters in Public Health (with Excellence) through UNSW.
She has interests in medical leadership, doctors' welfare, medical education and workforce planning.
Aimee Gullotto
Director of Business and Service Development
Aimee has more than 15 years experience in in leadership, operations, business development and marketing across various sectors including aged care and disability services. She is also a member of the Institute of Company Directors Australia.
Aimee also has a passion for mindfulness and is the author of the published children's book, The Awareness Alphabet. The book offers a unique way to learn the alphabet through positive messages and acts of kindness.
Leo Oyama
Director of Finance
Leo Oyama has extensive experience in senior financial positions in healthcare in both the UK and Australia. He has also worked for Ernst and Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers in financial and operational consulting, supporting a wide range of health care organisations in financial / operational performance improvement, strategy development, organisational redesign and governance.
Leo has a Masters in Law from the University of Cambridge and is a qualified chartered management accountant through CIMA. He is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture.
