As a not-for-profit Mission-driven organisation, we’re able to set aside funds from our services to deliver dedicated programs that reach those most in need.

These include free or low-cost mental health and perinatal mental health care, drug and alcohol counselling and withdrawal support, assistance for individuals at risk of homelessness, and international capacity-strengthening initiatives.

That means that by choosing St John of God Heath Care over the past year, you’ve enabled us to provide more than $29.1 million worth of compassionate care to those most in need.

This care included:

• 28,104 mental health and alcohol and other drug counselling sessions.
• 22,732 nights of accommodation for people at risk of homelessness.
• Support for 1,230 individuals to reduce or stop harmful alcohol or drug use.
• Training for 457 nurses and midwives in Timor-Leste, helping strengthen local capacity and person-centred care.

Our organisational Strategy outlines Community Impact as a key priority area. This reinforces our ongoing commitment to addressing health disparities and strengthening partnerships that allow us to identify and respond to those who need our support the most.
