Dr Mairead Stafford is a general practitioner with a subspecialty in emergency medicine. She treats patients at St John of God Geraldton Hospital.

Dr Stafford was born in Ireland, and graduated with her Primary Degree at the National University of Ireland and University College Dublin in 1996. She undertook a four-year general practice training program in the South East of Ireland. As part of this training program, she then completed a four-month elective at Murray Medical in Mandurah in 2004.

After completing her vocational training programme, Dr Stafford returned to Australia in 2006.

Dr Stafford’s clinical interests are women’s health, minor surgery and general practice.
