Our mental health clinicians provide specialist treatment to mums, dads and families who experience stress, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues during pregnancy and following childbirth (the perinatal period).
Our services can be accessed from conception up until the child is four years of age.
We also offer counselling and support for parents experiencing mental health issues around prenatal testing or pregnancy loss.
Our services are available to all members of the community, you don’t need to have been a St John of God Health Care maternity patient or have private health insurance to access our services.
Referrals and costs
A referral from your general practitioner (GP) is required to access our services. We provide care free of charge or at low cost.
