Medicare Mental Health Centres available throughout holidays
For many people Christmas and New Year is a time of joy and renewal, but for others it can exacerbate stress, isolation, loss or pre-existing mental health conditions.
12 Nov 2025

For this reason, the Medicare Mental Health Centres in Armadale and Midland will be open from 10.00am to 8.00pm every day throughout the holiday season, including all weekends and public holidays.
Our centres offer mental health and emotional support for your adult patients with mild to moderate mental health concerns — no appointment needed. We also support family, friends and carers.
All services are provided for free and people can simply walk in for immediate support or to make an appointment for counselling. Alternatively, they can call the Medicare Mental Health phone line on 1800 595 212.
Referrals are welcome but not required.
Our centres are staffed by mental health nurses, occupational therapists, social workers and peer support workers. If your client’s care needs change and requires the input of a psychologist or psychiatrist, we will support them to re-engage with you for a referral and continue to support them while they wait for their appointment.
Medicare Mental Health Centres in Perth are operated by St John of God Health Care and funded by the Australian Government via the PHN Program. Find out more at wapha.org.au/mmhc.
