Dr Saha is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist & Hepatologist and trained paediatric endoscopist based at St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals. He was formally a full time Paediatric Gastroenterology consultant at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Melbourne till the end of 2020, working within a world class team at one of the great Children’s Hospitals.

He underwent his higher specialist training in paediatrics within the NHS in the UK, and subspecialised in paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Clinical Nutrition from the prestigious centres in London including Kings College Hospital and the Royal London Hospital. He has presented widely in national and international conferences and authored several publications including the RCPCH special interest module in Gastroenterology, and had won the Young Investigator Award from the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) for three consecutive years.

He brings extensive experience in all aspects of paediatric gastroenterology, with expertise in common childhood gut problems, such as chronic refractory constipation, recurrent vomiting, blood in stools, recurrent abdominal pain, reflux, poor weight gain, feeding difficulties, coeliac disease, problems of the oesophagus, inflammatory bowel disease, liver and nutrition related problems.

He also has a unique perspective coming from a multicultural background and speaks fluent Bengali and Hindi. Apart from his clinical work, Dr Saha also has a passion for medical education having completed a postgraduate certificate course in medical education from Dundee University in 2017, and holds an academic appointment as Senior Clinical Lecturer with Curtin University.
