Dr Ross first started practicing in Australia in 1999, when he did his fellowship in anterior segment surgery at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in South Australia. He is a Fellow of the College of Ophthalmologists FCS (Ophth) SA, the South African Ophthalmology Fellowship and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (FRANZCO).

Dr Ross is highly experienced and has been providing comprehensive eye care services in the Midland area since 2004. He is dedicated and aims to provide the best possible care, outcomes, and empathy to all his patients. Dr Ross's Midland rooms (Midland Swan Valley Eye Clinic) offer a comprehensive, state-of-the-art ophthalmology service in a professional and friendly environment. We provide state of the art small incision eye surgery, specialising in cataract, pterygium, glaucoma, and lid surgery.

Our well-equipped Midland office provides a comprehensive range of specialist ophthalmic investigations and treatments, including diabetic eye screening, laser, glaucoma screening, macular degeneration assessments, general ophthalmology checks, various treatments and minor procedures. We have on-site lasers which are used to treat glaucoma, intraocular lens opacification, diabetic retinopathy and tears of the retina.

Dr Ross operates at St John of God Midland Hospital, for both private and public patients. Dr Ross is a HBF and MBP preferred provider and charges no gap for surgery on these patients. He is also a preferred provider for almost all other health funds.
