Matthew is an approachable, excellent gastroenterologist who delivers comprehensive patient care across all facets of gastroenterology and hepatology. He prides himself on clear communication with both patients and their GPs.

He completed his advanced training at Monash Health and Austin Health, including at the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit treating liver patients. He then completed a hepatology fellowship at the prestigious King’s College Hospital in London, UK. He is also highly trained in FibroScans, endobariatrics (non-surgical weight loss procedures) and has a strong research background in both liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease.
