Dr Patrick Moloney is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and founder of the Ballarat Women’s Clinic. He heads up a team of expert specialists, GPs and allied health practitioners in a multi-disciplinary and patient-centred approach to women’s health care. 

Dr Pat completed his medical degree in 1996 and went on to complete his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Melbourne’s Royal Women’s Hospital.

He has a special interest in complex laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis excision, infertility, and menstrual disorders.

In his six years based at The Women’s, Dr Pat developed a special interest in obstetrics including management of twin pregnancies. He believes in personal care for parents and their baby, and his natural style is calm and patient, confidently guiding them towards the birth of their baby. He actively strives for a low caesarean rate and encourages VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Caesarean).

Dr Pat is co-host of The Kick Pregnancy Podcast and founder of the online pregnancy and birth program, GrowMyBaby.
