Dr Liddiard received her medical degree from the University of London in 1997. She trained in general medicine - being awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2001. She became a UK specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2011, working in the North East of Scotland.

Andrea and her family immigrated to Australia, she achieved the FRANZCOG (Australian specialist qualification) and arrived in Bunbury in 2012. In November 2012, Dr Liddiard established Vestrum Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her ultrasound training (DDU) in 2014 and created Vestrum Ultrasound for Women in 2015.

Vestrum is the only integrated medical service in the Southwest to combine women's imaging with both maternity and gynaecological care; she uses her skills to optimise management of both pregnant women and women seeking gynaecological treatment. She is passionate about the holistic care of women and their unborn babies during pregnancy and in labour, specialising in the management of "high risk" pregnancies and labours.

Dr Liddiard's operative gynaecological skills encompass everything from small day case procedures such as hysteroscopy to more complex prolapse repairs and complicated laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery including hysterectomy.

Vestrum has a tradition of supporting the local community and has been the major sponsor for the Women's Fun Run and Walk since 2015.

Andrea is married with four children and enjoys a wide range of sporting activities.
