Dr Muhammad Hashim is an Australian-based health professional. He has completed specialist training (FRACP) in general and acute care medicine at Eastern Health, Victoria, obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Rheumatology, UK, and is currently the clinical lead for one of the medical wards at Eastern Health.

He provides inpatient care at St John of God Berwick Hospital and consults privately at the Spinal & Orthopaedic Centre and Berwick consulting suites.

Dr Hashim has special clinical interest in musculoskeletal and inflammatory rheumatological disorders and managing complex medical cases. He has extensive experience in perioperative medicine, having provided this service at Eastern Health for many years.

He utilises a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with other health care professionals such as orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for his patients.

Dr Hashim is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, Pashto and Persian. He takes time to listen to his patient's concerns, thoroughly explains management plans and ensures that they feel comfortable and supported throughout their health care journey.
