Dr Christopher Canaris graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1982 and qualified as a psychiatrist in 1989. He spent many years at Wesley Private Hospital until its closure.
He has worked as an adult general psychiatrist and has worked extensively in forensic psychiatry. He is an assessor of whole person impairment for the Personal Injury Commission.
