Dr Brooks has presented research at both national and international conferences. His work was recognised at the Australian and New Zealand Society of Plastic Surgeons meeting in Auckland in 2018 where the focus was around his work on improving body lift outcomes, and most recently at the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons 2021 where he was asked to present his body contouring technique. Dr Brooks is actively involved in medical student, junior doctor and GP education.

Professional Associations:

Dr Brooks is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons the Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He also is a panel member of the statewide melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer MDT clinics.
