Mr Edward Baddour is a specialist in adult and paediatric spinal surgery. He was born in Melbourne, Victoria. He graduated from Sydney University medical school in 1996.
Mr Baddour spent many of his early postgraduate years working in Newcastle, and Alice Springs. He completed his Basic and Advanced Surgical training programs in Orthopaedic Surgery in Western Australia. Mr Baddour was entered into the Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2008.
Mr Baddour completed three years of internationally accredited spinal surgery fellowship training. This included posts in Wales, United Kingdom, and Perth, Australia. His fellowship training is credentialed by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, and the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
His training and clinical practice includes all aspects of surgical spinal care. This includes adult degenerative conditions, severe spinal trauma, and complex paediatric deformity. Mr Baddour works at Royal Perth Hospital, St John of God Hospital in Subiaco, and the Perth Children's Hospital. He is a member of the Western Australian State Spine Service which treats all major spinal injuries that occur within our state.
Mr Baddour values the lifestyle we lead, and is committed to assisting our veteran heroes who have provided us with this opportunity. Mr Baddour is actively involved in teaching medical students, junior medical staff, and training orthopaedic surgeons. Mr Baddour is married with a young family. He is also a keen cyclist, and follows Australian Rules football.
