Dr Elayne Ooi is an urologist who treats patients at St John of God Mount Lawley and Subiaco Hospitals.

Dr Elayne Ooi obtained her MBBS from the University of Adelaide in 1999, and completed basic and advanced surgical training in Western Australia.

Dr Ooi’s previous appointments include Paediatric Urology Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital and Robotic Surgery and Oncology Fellow at Royal Adelaide Hospital. In 2012, Dr Ooi was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Society of Robotic Surgery.

Dr Ooi is a general urologist with sub-specialty interests in robotic surgery and brachytherapy for prostate cancer, kidney stones, bladder cancer, green light laser surgery for prostate enlargement, voiding dysfunction, Botox injections and sacral neuromodulation for overactive bladder.

Dr Ooi is also a senior instructor on the Emergency Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) course, Cutting Edge: Essential Surgical Skills course.
