Dr Lorraine Ong graduated with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 1999. She trained in Ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, where she completed a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery. She undertook a further fellowship at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom.
Dr Ong is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists, and the Australian and New Zealand Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeons. She has been practising in Warrnambool since 2011, where she offers both public and private surgery. She holds an appointment at South West Healthcare. Her special interests include cataract surgery, eyelid malpositions, periocular tumours, tear duct surgery.
