Dr Primero Ng is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist based in Perth, Western Australia, with advanced expertise in complex coronary artery disease, including chronic total occlusions (CTO), high-risk PCI, and patients unsuitable for surgery. Dual-trained in Cardiac CT, he provides a comprehensive, imaging-led approach to diagnosis, procedural planning, and follow-up.

After graduating with honours from the University of Western Australia, Dr Ng completed cardiology training across Perth’s leading tertiary hospitals before pursuing an advanced coronary fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital, where he focused on intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT) and coronary physiology (FFR, iFR, RFR).

He was later selected as the only international fellow at the University of Washington Medical Centre in Seattle, one of the world’s foremost centres for complex PCI and CTO therapy. There he completed a competitive CHIP (Complex and High-Risk Indicated PCI) fellowship under global leaders Dr Bill Lombardi, Dr Kate Kearney, and Dr Lorenzo Azzalini. This experience refined his technical expertise and reinforced his commitment to safety, outcomes, and a collaborative, patient-centred culture.

Dr Ng specialises in the treatment of CTOs, left main and multivessel coronary disease, and the revascularisation of patients who have been declined or prefer to avoid bypass surgery. He routinely integrates advanced imaging and physiology-guided PCI to tailor strategies to each patient’s anatomy and risk profile.

Dedicated to delivering durable, evidence-based solutions, Dr Ng combines world-class training with a focus on precision, innovation, and long-term patient outcomes.
