Upcoming St John of God Health Care network outage

Please note that St John of God Health Care will be implementing an essential network upgrade from 10pm AWST on Friday 5 January which will result in a temporary network outage across our hospitals and services.

The outage will last for up to ten hours, and is scheduled to be completed by approximately 8am AWST/11am AEDT on Saturday 6 January 2024.

Some of our key systems, including phone and website services will be down during this time.

Providing our patients and clients with exceptional quality care remains our focus, and plans are in place across each hospital and service to ensure everything runs smoothly.

We have chosen this time period so there is minimal disruption to our patients and clients, however certain changes need to be made during the outage:

  • Patients’ meal orders during this period will be taken manually because bedside phones will not be in use. 
  • If family or friends need to contact a patient who doesn’t have a personal device, they can still contact the hospital directly through the hospital landline phone number – visit our contact us page.

Please note, patient/visitor Wi-Fi networks will still be available during this period.
