Steel is an Radiologist specialising in complex, minimally invasive radiological procedures. 

Having graduated from University of Adelaide, Steel trained in radiology at the University Hospital Geelong and completed his Interventional Radiology Fellowship at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Prior to relocating back to Geelong, Steel had the opportunity to work in various regional and remote locations around Australia, including far north and central Queensland. 

Steel is a strong advocate for equitable access to health care in regional and remote settings. He sits as an acting committee member for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology Workforce committee, and maintains a strong interest in professional advocacy.

• Central venous access
• Arterial and venous embolisation procedures
• Oncological interventions including chemoembolisation and ablation techniques
