Dr Scott Lee is a dual-trained specialist physician in Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Medicine.
After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 2004 he underwent further specialty training in Western Australia including in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Royal Perth Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, Osborne Park Hospital and St John of God Murdoch and Subiaco hospitals.
He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians for Geriatric Medicine in 2011, received a second Fellowship for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians for Palliative Medicine in 2012, and another Fellowship for the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine in 2014.
He specialises in all areas of aged and palliative care, including acute internal medicine in the elderly, delirium and dementia syndromes, bone fragility disorders, frailty and rehabilitation, and complex symptom management in cancer and chronic non-malignant conditions.
Scott currently holds positions as a staff specialist in the Department of Palliative Care at both St John of God Murdoch Hospital (including Murdoch Community Hospice) and South Metropolitan Health Service (Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital). He is the current Director of Hospice and Palliative Care Services at St John of God Murdoch Hospital and Murdoch Community Hospice. He also works in private practice in Geriatric Medicine at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.
