Dr David Oliver is trained in the care of patients with breast cancer and benign breast conditions, including oncoplastic breast surgery and implant based breast reconstruction.
Dr Oliver works in a multidisciplinary team at St John of God Murdoch Hospital. He has extensive experience in the surgical management of endocrine disorders (thyroid lumps/cancers, parathyroid and adrenal tumours). For breast and thyroid conditions he provides an immediate clinician-performed ultrasound, including ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration and core biopsy.
In addition, Dr Oliver has maintained an interest in routine general surgery, including cholecystectomy, hernia repair and salivary gland surgery. He is a full member of BreastSurgANZ, a full member of the Endocrine Section of the College of Surgeons, a full member of Australian Endocrine Surgeons and a member of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons and Breast Surgery International.
