Dr Althea MaGee is a Consultant Private Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. She has been practicing in obstetrics and gynaecology for 36 years.

Althea previously practiced overseas for 12 years and then moved to Australia, where she has been practicing for the past 24 years.

ln lndia, Althea completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and then her Masters in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. During her time in lndia, she also worked with the Missionary Sisters of Charity, founded by Mother Theresa.

She moved to Australia to re-unite with her family and has worked at all major Obstetric and Gynaecology Units in Western Australia, including KEMH, Bunbury Regional Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus and Osborne Park Hospital.

Althea has a particular interest in obstetric care, including high risk pregnancies, management of early pregnancy loss and early assessment of pregnancy.

Her gynaecology interests include management of post-menopausal bleeding, fibroids, hysteroscopies, colposcopies and cervical screening tests.
