Edwina graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from University of Western Australia in 2008. She discovered a passion for obstetrics and gynaecology during her fifth year rural medicine rotation in Western Australia. She then undertook general training in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia, before starting her Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at King Edward Hospital in Perth.

Edwina moved to the Surf Coast with her husband and three children to pursue her specialist career in regional Victoria. She has completed advanced training in high risk obstetrics, pelvic floor and minimally invasive surgery at University Hospital Geelong, Joan Kirner Women’s and Children in Sunshine and with the OGB group in Ballarat.

Edwina has completed further post graduate qualifications in medical education and is an advocate for teaching of medical students, junior doctors, nurses and midwives. She has a strong interest in research and completed her Master of Clinical Research in the field of Ovarian Cancer in 2019. She also has a Master of Reproductive Medicine 2022.

Edwina is a high quality, passionate women’s health specialist. She is practices obstetrics, gynaecology and fertility and believes in a holistic, patient centred approach to women’s health and pregnancy.

Her gynaecology expertise includes menstrual disorders, vulval disorders and pelvic pain. Edwina has surgical skills in advanced laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, pelvic floor surgery and colposcopy.

Edwina is excited to share her expertise and provide high quality care to the women of Surf Coast and neighbouring regions.
