Dr Bhaskar Mandal is a specialist general physician with a specialty in geriatric medicine. He treats patients at St John of God Murdoch Hospital.

Dr Mandal undertook specialist training in geriatric and general medicine in Oxford, UK and worked in National Health Service in the UK for 18 years before moving to Australia. He is a fellow of Royal College of Physician London and Royal Australasian College of Physician Australia.

Dr Mandal’s areas of interest are acute care of the older people, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, falls, frailty syndromes and rehabilitation of complex medical issues in elderly patients.

Dr Mandal also holds the position of Adjunct Clinical Professor at Curtin Medical School in Perth.
