Dr Mangesh Deshmukh is an accomplished neonatal and perinatal medicine physician. He completed his Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth and has also completed his Masters in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Newcastle, New South Wales.

Dr Deshmukh has published ten scientific papers in prestigious peer review international journals and presents regularly at national level conferences. His clinical and research interests includes care of preterm neonates, neonatal nutrition, gastrointestinal disorders, infant colic and conducting systematic reviews.

Dr Deshmukh is an adjunct Senior Lecturer affiliated with the School of Medicine (Paediatrics division) at The University of Western Australia and Notre Dame University, and is involved in teaching junior doctors, medical students and nursing staff. He is working as a Consultant Neonatologist at St John of God Subiaco Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.
