Competition Rules

This photo competition is being held and promoted by St John of God Health Care ARBN 051 960 911 ABN 21 930 207 958.

Opening and closing dates

Entries into the prize draw will be accepted between 7:00am (WST) on 13 June 2022 and 11:59pm on 26 June 2022 (Submission and Voting Period).

After the Submission and Voting Period has concluded, a panel of judges will nominate an overall winner and two runners up. 

Judging date

The judging will be completed by 6.00pm on 6 July 2022. The winner and runners up will be informed and announced on 7 July 2022.

Who may enter

The only people who many enter the prize draw are:

• Australian residents;
• Aged 18 years old or over.

How to enter

An Entrant who likes the St John of God Health Care Facebook page at www.facebook.com/sjoghealthcare and provides the information requested including uploading one or more images via the Woobox application 13 June 2022 and 26 June 2022 will be entered into the competition. 

The entrant must submit a qualifying photograph illustrating a male relationship to the St John of god Health Care website via the Woobox application. 

Each entrant will also be required to submit a photo caption and email address. 

Conditions of entry

An entry to the photo competition will only be valid if the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotional advertisements for the competition form part of the conditions of entry.

The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered or associated with Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. The entrant releases Facebook, Instagram and Twitter from any associated liability. 

All entrants who provide information to enter this competition provide that information to St John of God Health Care through the Woobox application and not to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

St John of God Health Care reserves the right to verify the validity of entries received, and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Entries and images may be removed without notice if they do not reflect the Values of St John of God Health Care or are perceived as inappropriate in anyway.

Participants may make multiple entries but only one entry per person will be included in the competition short list of ten entries to be considered by our Judging Panel. 

By submitting a photo to this competition entrants warrant and agree:

• that all intellectual property in any photo submitted to St John of God Health Care (Photo) vests in the entrant submitting the Photo, or the person submitting the relevant Photo has been granted to right to deal with the Photo in the manner required by these terms and conditions;
• to grant St John of God Health Care an irrevocable, non-exclusive, perpetual and royalty-free licence to use (including the right to sub-licence) any Photo for any purpose whatsoever;
• to allow St John of God Health Care to use or reproduce any Photo (in accordance with the licence granted to St John of God Health Care by the entrant) with or without attribution of authorship (so long as St John of God Health Care does not falsely attribute authorship) ; and
• to be contacted by St John of God Health Care regarding their entry or any of the information the entrant supplies, including personal stories or history of accessing Raphael Services.

Selection of the winner and prize details

The winning entry will be the Photo which is considered by our Judging Panel to best represent positive relationships between children and a significant male in their lives. Considerations include narrative displayed in the Photo and the quality of the Photo. The competition it based on a game of skill, not chance. All entries will be displayed in an online competition gallery and the winning entry will be featured on the St John of God Health Care website and St John of God Health Care social media accounts.

The winner and runners up will be chosen:

• from a shortlist of ten entries which will be determined by public vote (to be made available through the Woobox application; and
• by a Judging Panel made up of three judges including a St John of God Raphael Services caregiver and two external representatives (non-St John of God Health Care employees, with photographic and/or academic backgrounds). 

The winner and runners up will be notified by St John of God Health Care on 4 July 2022, using the contact details provided on the entry form.

The winner will receive a DJI Mini SE drone (value $619)

There will be two runners up prizes of $50 Myer/Coles Vouchers.

The prizes must be accepted as offered and is not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash.

If any aspect of the prize cannot be delivered for any reason, St John of God Health Care reserves the right to substitute the prize for any other item of equal or greater value.

If the prize remains unclaimed by 31 July 2022, the Prize will be considered forfeited and may be used by St John of God Health Care for an alternative purpose, entirely at the discretion of St John of God Health Care.

Privacy

Personal information collected by St John of God Health Care in conjunction with this competition will only be used to identify the winner of the competition and for St John of God Health Care’s future marketing and promotional activities.

All personal information collected by St John of God Health Care in conjunction with the prize draw will be handled and used in accordance with St John of God Health Care’s Privacy Policy, available online.

Limitation of liability

St John of God Health Care, its employees, agents or contractors will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of this prize draw or the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

In the event that any such liability cannot be excluded by law, the total aggregate liability of St John of God Health Care will not exceed the total cost of the prizes (being $719).
