St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital Nurse Ashly Grabski is a finalist in the Excellence in Registered Nursing category and St John of God Social Outreach Drug and Alcohol Withdrawal Network (DAWN) Nurse Jupp Groenveld has been named as a finalist in the Consumer Appreciation category, for her work with the community-based service which was previously run by St John of God Subiaco Hospital.

St John of God Health Care Group Director of Nursing and Patient Experience Dani Meinema congratulated both nurses.

“It is wonderful to have two St John of God Health Care nurses recognised amongst their peers in these key WA awards,” Dani said.

“Both nurses are dedicated to providing excellent patient care and it is fantastic to see the contributions  they are making in their respective fields, with Ashly focused on mental health care in the hospital and Jupp providing clients with drug and alcohol support in the community.

“We wish both Ashly and Jupp all the best in the upcoming awards.”

The WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards winners will be announced on 15 May 2021.
