The ceremony acknowledged the dedication and contribution made by the Daughters of Charity to Marillac Ltd, people with disability, staff and the community.

It was also an opportunity to appreciate the significant historical contribution made by the Daughters of Charity since 1943.

During the transition of services, the Sisters exemplified a dignified approach and this highlighted the Mission and Values shared by St John of God Accord and Marillac. This shared value system also builds a common organisational culture across Accord.

The Blessing Ceremony further welcomed many people from Marillac Ltd, the Daughters of Charity, St John of God Health Care and St John of God Accord including St John of God Health Care trustees.

David Monody from the National Disability Services provided an overview of the NDIS and the Blessing Ceremony finished with messages of inspiration to celebrate the start of a new journey for Marillac Ltd.
